Justin and I skipped the Tuesday Night Criterium to race at the Empire Runner's Summer Track series instead. This was my first track and field event ever. In hopes of doing well at a few duathlons later this year, I'm trying to step up my running game.
In addition to all his work supporting the OA racers (along with Justin and Shannon), Bradley shot tons of awesome video footage at Elkhorn. Here's a recap of the first day's road race.
Wake up at 6:40am.
Roll out of bed at 7:00am.
Eat a banana or two. Have some orange juice.
Hop on the bike at 7:30.
Do running race at 8:30.
Wait around for silly ribbon for winning my age group.
Ride home.
Have food.
Take nap.
Get back on the mountain bike at 3:30pm.
Go for a 4 hour ride (I'm getting ready for the 16 hour Shannon Ridge Showdown in October).
Go to Slice of Life for dinner.
